Rather than following rigid rainbow stripes, the colors move naturally through blossoms and buds on both sides of the wreath. Each flower remains individual, yet all belong to the same living structure.

Rendered in the spirit of a late-19th-century hand-colored botanical plate, the design combines matte gouache, transparent watercolor, engraved linework, crosshatching, and subtle dry-brush texture.
