Vintage Photo - paire 061 | Spiral Notebook - Ruled Line | “Ink the Past. Inspire the Future.” – Where vintage pride meets modern purpose.

Two young Union soldiers sit side by side, their posture poised, their gaze calm but resolute. Captured during the American Civil War, Vintage Photo – paire 061 is a hauntingly intimate portrait of quiet bravery and unspoken connection. Dressed in full Union Army uniforms, one rests his hand gently on the other's wrist—a rare gesture preserved from a time of conflict, brotherhood, and hidden tenderness.

This ruled-line spiral notebook features their studio portrait at its center, elegantly framed with vintage blue embellishments on a deep matte black cover. A timeless keepsake for writers, historians, and dreamers alike.

A Note on Provenance:

This restored image is believed to originate from a Civil War-era tintype portrait session, likely between 1863–1865. The subjects wear Union Army uniforms with distinctive belts and tunics. Their pose—a gentle, composed intimacy—suggests more than comradeship. Though the identities and full story of these men are unknown, the moment they shared was preserved. The names are fictional, but the bond is real.
