Worn Witness

Worn Witness uncovers LGBTQ+ history through the personal objects and artifacts that silently endured it. Each design centers on a historically researched, visibly weathered object connected to a documented moment of exclusion, resistance, loss, or change. Subtle layers of Pride color emerge through cracks and worn surfaces, representing identities that institutions attempted to conceal or erase. From military expulsion and government persecution to protest and remembrance, these objects bear witness to lives too often omitted from the historical record. Worn Witness transforms evidence of injustice into enduring acts of visibility, remembrance, and pride.
